Confessions of a Rock 'n' Roll Name-Dropper:
My Life Leading Up to John Lennon's Last Interview
Here I am at the Feb. 2024 New York Fest for Beatles Fans at my solo book sale/signing table in one of a number of authors rooms waiting for the next big group of fans and signature seekers to come in for my brand new memoir, which has proven pretty popular - Yay!
Here I am again at the 2024 NY Beatles Fans Fest, this time with former Wings guitarist Laurence Juber, who I interviewed in London back in June, 1979 with Paul & Linda McCartney and Wings! So cool to meet up with him again all these years later!
Yahoo! Got to meet up/hang out with Sean Lennon at the Museum of Tolerance screening of the Oscar nominated animated short film he created, WAR Is OVER! So exciting to be able to talk with Seam about my Dec. 8, 1980 interview with his dad and mom, which of course tragically turned out to be John Lennon's last one ever...and Sean was super excited about getting a copy of my book, and told me he was looking forward to reading it and sharing it with his mother - Yay, Yoko! A super cool evening - especially when Sean told me he remembered the toy I brought for him to the Dakota as a gift that day all those years ago...the wind up dragon that shot sparks out like fire!
